Meet Captain Dave
Dave Hust grew up in Gore, OK which is known as the “The trout capital of Oklahoma”. He was able to hone his fishing skills at an early age in this area that is known for it’s fishing, all under the direction of his grandpa. Captain Dave is retired from the United States Army where he served his country as a paratrooper, artilleryman and a recruiter for 22 years. Upon retiring from the military he remained in the Brunswick, GA area where he was last stationed. Dave has always had a passion for the outdoors and for the water which was the driving force that lead him to start Mad Shark Charters. Captain Dave is often quoted as saying “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.”, this is definitely evident when you see Captain Dave in his element. Meet Captain Adam
Adam Hust grew up, with his brother Dave, in Gore, OK. Adam would spend most of his time fishing the Illinois river and Tenkiller lake, located just North of his home town. Captain Adam is an 8 year veteran of the United States Army where he served as a Combat Engineer. Adam has an incredible passion for the outdoors and can usually be found on the water or in the woods. Captain Adam has been fishing the waters around Brunswick, GA for over 25 years. One might say that Adam has somewhat of a sixth sense when it comes to finding fish. Many times, Captain Adam locates the good fishing spots when others can’t!
